Things to consider:

When?

You can travel anywhere, at anytime of the year and each destination will have something wonderful in store for you.

Remember to…..

Plan early!  To ensure you can get what you want when you want it; get with me early in the game.

Apply for Passports! Most International travel requires a passport; apply early to avoid delays and extra fees.

Where?

You really need to talk with each other on this one.  I can help you decide by providing tidbits of great places.  You decide if you want a long romance of Paris or Tahiti, the history of Rome, nightlife in London, remote Caribbean Beaches or Alaska’s wonders of the world.  It’s the beginning of your lives together pick a destination you both will love and remember.  Again…I’m here to help!

Sailing?

Cruises have become very popular for honeymoons.  If you enjoy seeing a lot of sights and want to visit many destinations, a cruise might be the good choice.  These are so many cruises to fit you needs and personalities.  If you want a large ship with lots of activities, take a Carnival, Princess, or Royal Caribbean cruise line.  If you are looking for a smaller ship with a more intimate, romantic setting, think Seabourn, Silversea or Sea Dream Yacht Club.  Prices can range from $75 per person per day to just under $300 per person per day.  One thought:  If you decide on a cruise, do not scrimp on the cabin.  Go with the most you can afford and never, never, never take an inside cabin.

Resorts?

I can help here too! Some of the all-inclusive resorts like Sandals, which has properties all over the Caribbean, are built and programmed with romance in mind.  A lot of today’s honeymooners are opting to spend time in a couple of resorts.  I know you would have to pack up and move in the middle of the honeymoon, but I recommend it.  Each resort has different romantic setting, spas, fun and adventure.  Say for example you try the romantic Ladera in St Lucia for 3 days and 4 days at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and Beach Resort.

Cost?

This is not the time to start pinching pennies.  Remember, you only get married once and this is the start of your life together.  Make it as memorable as you can afford.  This is where I come in.  Let me know your budget and we will work to get you the perfect dream honeymoon within your means.  But, just to let you know, most honeymooners blow their budget by 10% or more, so plan a little cushion.

Insurance?

Buy travel insurance.  You never know what will happen, and because the honeymoon is likely to be a big financial and emotional investment, you want to be covered on this trip.  Some policies have a cancel of any reason clause…
